Prior Testing

Before fully conceptualizing my idea, I knew I wanted to utilize Nuke, SynthEyes, Maya, and Houdini for my project. However, there was one problem: I had never integrated anything from Houdini into live action before, and I was unaware of its limitations. Moreover, there wasn’t much information available on how to accomplish this when initially learning the program. Therefore, I set myself a challenge for the summer: to combine all the software programs I intended to use for my FMP and complete a single shot. This was mostly to figure out how I could integrate Houdini into live action, but also worked at helping me figure out certain workflows between each program.
